Additional Notes: Justin Morrow (player on his knees) was going for the soccer ball as it approached the corner flag in the offensive zone. It was late in the game and Toronto was down 3-2 to the Portland Timber at BMO Field in Toronto. Toronto needed the win to keep their playoff hopes alive (they have never made the playoffs in their 8 year in the league). Morrow was tired and his legs gave out. He fell to the ground and so the their season. This picture portrays TFCs last 8 years in a nutshell.

I shot the team for most of the season last year for a few websites. This was shot on my Canon Rebel T3i.

A special thank you also goes out to the judges and award sponsors:

About the 2015 CLIX Photo Competition

The competition was open to students’ work done between Sept. 1, 2014, and March 26, 2015. Entries were accepted in four categories: News, Sport, Arts & Life, and Portrait.

The awards were handed out April 9 at 3 p.m. in the Corridor Gallery at Centennial College’s Story Arts Centre, 951 Carlaw Ave., Toronto, ON.

Winning entries are on display in the Corridor Gallery until April 17.

What is CLIX all about?
It’s about celebrating the best in digital imaging from students in all programs at the Story Arts Centre, not just journalism. Images can be course-related work or not.
