Episode 7 breakdown – The AFC West

Segment 1: The Oakland Raiders have been one the NFL’s worst for over a decade, but they’ve made some good moves in the last two years drafting Derek Carr, Khalil Mack, and now bonafide receiving star Amari Cooper. The team finished 3-13 last season, but have without a doubt improved their roster. How much can they improve their record in 2015?

Segment 2: The San Diego Chargers had a very up and down 2014, defeating the defending champs early in the year, but falling to injury woes as the games went on. Phillip River’s weapons are as good as they’ve been in a long time. With some additions to the defence, the Bolts could be in for quite a ride in 2015!

Segment 3: The Kansas City Chiefs’ issues in 2014 can be made clear with one statistic. In 2014, zero wide receivers caught a touchdown. Zero. Dwayne Bowe said he wasn’t even mad. Dwayne Bowe is no longer on the team. I wonder why? You can check out what else we wonder about KC and their upcoming season.

Segment 4: The Denver Broncos look to be slowly deteriorating. Peyton’s old, Orange Julius is off to Jacksonville, Welker is no longer with the team, and Ryan Clady is out for the year again. Denver has brought in a new coaching staff led by former Bronco Gary Kubiak. How far can Peyton Manning take Denver this season and can he avoid another decline late in the year at age 39?
