Journalism professor and celebrated author Ted Barris hosts a special ceremony at the Story Arts Centre.
The Consul General of France (in Toronto), Marc Trouyet, presents the l’Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur (the Legion of Honour) to Jim Jenkins, 19th Field Artillery, Royal Canadian Artillery, and Martin Maxwell of the British Glider Regiment, for their service in the liberation of France during the Second World War.
