Centennial College’s Story Arts Centre, above, and Performing Arts Centre are both home to the School of Communications, Media, Arts and Design

Centennial onDemand features film + video, audio, and other visual and multiplatform projects produced at Centennial College’s School of Communications, Media, Arts and Design (SCMAD). These include projects that are part of the curriculum as well as events and self-produced student works.

onDemand’s mission: to provide easy online access to film, video and audio works produced at the SCMAD.

onDemand is designed as direct academic support for curriculum and as an archive of produced works.

onDemand also provides portals for self-produced student work, including Centennial Internet Radio.

Centennial College’s SCMAD operates out of two locations:

  • the Story Arts Centre is located at 951 Carlaw Avenue, right in the heart of the Danforth, a vibrant neighbourhood in Toronto’s east end
  • the Performing Arts Centre is located at 2200 Eglinton Avenue East in the heart of Scarborough, with easy access to the library and recreation facilities at Centennial’s nearby Ashtonbee campus

Many programs of the school — including Advertising, Art + Design Foundation Studies, Broadcasting + Film, Digital Animation and Journalism — produce film, video or audio works as part of their curriculum.
