The Journal is a half-hour newsmagazine TV show produced at the Story Arts Centre and webcast up to eight times each semester.
Produced by fourth semester students, The Journal is a thought-provoking mix of entertainment and news programming.
Students rotate through various roles including show producer, field production, writing, producing, directing, shooting and editing.
With unique Points of View, the City Beat, Special Investigations, Days in the Life, Guerilla Consumer, Healthy Living, Special Documentaries and in-studio interviews and performances, The Journal has something for everyone.
This episode of the The Journal features four documentaries: a story about crazy parkour at The Monkey Vault, an artist profile about Pradeep Anurag Gade, who carves classroom chalk into amazing objects, an intimate look into the personal experiences of an ADHD sufferer and finally a fascinating feature story about Ursula Darby, a psychic medium.
