The Murphy Challenge

The Murphy Challenge consists of three-minute films made by three years of B+F students in three days using three special ingredients – a prop, a character and a location!

In this project students from all semesters team up in groups and work together. Students draw their three special ingredients and met their team mates.

We’ve renamed the contest in honour of Dennis Murphy, who was one of the original architects.

Darkness At The Stroke Of Noon

This year, the Murphy Challenge challenged each participating group of students to adapt and produce a given segment from former B&F full-time faculty Dennis Murphy’s novel, Darkness At The Stroke Of Noon, which was published following his passing two years ago. The finished scenes are strung together as an experimental feature film. [ See more » ]
