As the OFSAA provincial boys basketball championship ended in high drama on the court, it was the foundation of the tournament that received all the accolades off the court.

The Eastern Commerce Saints are Toronto South Region champions. The Tier 1 senior boys basketball team beat the rival Oakwood Barons 68-67 to advance to the city championships beginning on Feb. 18.
The boys are looking to repeat as city champions and hopefully Ontario champions.
