The debate around Canada’s ongoing seal hunt became heated earlier this month.
Three weeks ago, European Parliament endorsed a bill to ban the import of seal products from Canada. If the bill is passed, this will be a success for animal activists — but a huge blow to the East Coast sealing industry.
