Between the Trenches looks to provide an entertaining and informative look on the National Football League. Hosts Duane Turner and Mitch Sanderson provide insight on the latest news in the NFL and offer previews and analysis on all the teams that make up the biggest sport in North America.

Episode 17 breakdown

Segment 1:
After a crazy second week of NFL action, Week 3 certainly made a lot more sense. We delve into these contests and touch on the various injuries that plagued multiple teams.

Segment 2:
Next up we discuss which teams have disappointed us the most three weeks into the season. Mitch is frustrated with how the Seattle Seahawks’ offence has performed thus far, especially against a defensively challenged Chicago Bears team. The Indianapolis Colts were a popular pick to represent the AFC in the Superbowl, but Duane has been less than impressed with Andrew Luck and company on the early campaign.

Segment 3:
Our weekly edition of Studs, Duds and Surprises is next. One receiver had an outstanding game to help lead his team to a 4-0 record, while another is still struggling to find his place on his new team.

Segment 4:
Duane and Mitch continue by each choosing a team that could enter their Top 3 in the near future with their performance over the weekend, and conclude with picking a winner for Thursday night’s match between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers.
