Centennial dance students mark Black History Month

On Monday, Feb. 13 at the Story Arts Centre, four Centennial College Dance program students performed their own choreographed pieces in honour of Black History Month.

These bright, strong, talented young people — Shannon Burrell, Dequan Clarke, Kahvontay Willis, and Tahj Tuitt — volunteered to be a part of this event. Not only are they amazing storytellers through the use of their bodies, they are also eloquent and had important things to say about their art and their experience as young Black people.

Everyone at the School of Communications, Media, Arts and Design is proud of these Centennial College students.
