On a very sunny Friday, February 17th, the Story Arts Centre was treated to a very powerful set of musical performances by some of the School of Communications, Media, Arts and Design’s music students.
These students chose to mark Black History Month by observing the Black struggle through song.
This event was the first of a two-part series called “Still I Rise”. The performances were passionate and the discussion so thoughtful that both the audience and performers were deeply moved.
