The Journal – 2020 Wednesday Show 2

On this episode of The Journal, our hosts Francesca Coviello and Kenesha Johnson dive into stories produced by Centennial College’s Broadcasting students and explore the artistic side of the GTA.

The first stop is Paint Cabin, an open painting studio where aspiring artists can learn more about painting, get together, relax, eat and drink.

The next story, Casting Central Film, explores how Lewis Baumander brings the best out of up-and-coming actors looking to make demo reels.

Next, we head over to the Gladstone Hotel to check out this year’s Come Up To My Room Art Exhibition. Our host/reporter Arthur Kravstov, takes a look inside the show, and the process behind the hotel-transforming event.

Then, field producer Tenzin Choezin checks out the Archiving Eden Exchange, a charity event that looks to educate youth about seeds and how to grow them.

Our feature doc goes all the way to Oshawa to discover the super friendly Living Room Art Studio. There we see how the Living Room functions on a day-to-day basis, meet some of the artists and hear the founder’s passion for the space.
