Jessica Lee, photographer
About Jessica Lee:
Jessica Lee is a third year student studying in the University of Toronto Scarborough and Centennial College joint journalism program, specializing in journalism with minors in English and psychology.
When she was five years old, Jessica took her first photograph. It was a picture of her mom at an amusement park. Back then, Jessica didn’t know anything about the rule of thirds or shutter speeds but something about the act of taking a picture sparked an interest of photography in her.
Jessica likes to explore Toronto and take pictures of the different neighbourhoods. Her current favourite area of Toronto is Roncesvalles.
Her enthusiasm for journalism is fuelled by her curiosity. She enjoys random conversations with strangers and trying new things. Other passions include music, fashion, sailing, literature, movies, writing, food and art.
She dreams of travelling the world one day as a photojournalist.
